To measure your gauge when knitting, set up the loom pieces and pegs as described in your pattern.Cast on enough stitches to equal approximately 6 inches when working flat, or one stitch for each peg when working in the round. Knit in the stitch pattern specified in your pattern for at least 6 inches, and bind off. Stretch your piece vertically and horizontally a few times to help the stitches settle into place, and then lay your piece on a flat surface to measure the stitches and rows per inch.
