Kits
Kits include both the pattern and the yarn in one purchase. Notions are sold separately. Kits are labeled on the site as “Crochet Kit” or “Knit Kit.” The patterns included in kits are not available for individual purchase.
Patterns
Most Lion Brand patterns are free to download, though an email address is required to access them. On each pattern page, customers have the option to purchase the yarn and notions used in the design. Patterns are listed by name and craft type, such as Fly Sweater Pattern (Knit) or Baby Blanket (Crochet).
Pattern Marketplace
Marketplace patterns are created by independent designers. These patterns can be purchased on their own or bundled with the required yarn and/or notions.
